Walkthrough
The Double-Barreled Shotgun or Double Barrel Shotgun is a shotgun in ZombiU. This weapon can be found in the Old Warehouses in Brick Lane Flats, just prior to the entrance to Ron Freedman's apartment building. It is the first shotgun encountered in the game, and has the highest damage per-shot.
Combat Performance[]
The double-barreled shotgun is the most powerful shotgun in the game in terms of raw damage and can easily dispatch zombies at close range with a single shot. At close range, few things can stand up to its firepower; even an Evolved Infected goes down in only a handful of blasts. However, it holds only 2 shells at a time and it has both the shortest effective range and the widest scatter pattern of any Shotgun; its damage falloff means it becomes substantially less effective the farther away from the target you are. It's also the only Shotgun whose ammo capacity cannot be upgraded, so its terribly limited ammo capacity will always remain an issue.
